One Christian was shot dead and six other seriously injured when influential Muslims attacked to grab land of Christians inherited by their ancestor in Chak 66 Dina Nath in Kasur district of Punjab.
Pakistani Christians attacked by influential Muslims in Chak 66 Dina Nath ,Kasur,one shot dead with bullet wounds Mr.Jhala Masih,one injured Mr.Riaz ,seriously by bullet wound in brain and still fighting with life and death in Jinah Hospital Lahore,one was kidnapped Mr.Khushi Masih and five injured including women.The FIR registered in the Police Station City Phool Nagar bearing No.277/12 under section 365 PPC for kidnapping.
Some of the injured Christians had been transferred to the Civil Hospital Phool Nagar, while those with serious bullet wounds had been admitted to the Jinah Hospital Lahore.
One an other Application gave in Police Choki Dina Nath Chak No 66 but no proceeding by police officials.Police Officials were making lame excuses to arrest the influential Muslims land grabber.
The attackers occupied the land property of 40 acres of Christians with connivance of the police officials.
LEAD has observed that in the last few years Muslims have made several attempts to seize the land from the Christians, usually succeeding because Christians are a marginalized minority, while Muslims carry out illegal activities with impunity and official blessings.The Christians were still in shock and under the fear of attack by Muslims land grabbers and the inhumane and illegal behavior of Police Official towards Christians.
Missionary Pastor President /National Director LEAD strongly condemn this murder, this is not the first incident of land grabbing in the district. Influential feudals target the weak and the assailable .
